The shock absorption of the GEL Cushioning System in the rearfoot and forefoot improves the level of cushioning and comfort, while the Trusstic System gives the shoe structural integrity and support.

The GEL-CUMULUS 13 also features gender specific cushioning, to give the most comfortable ride for the male runner, which is also enhanced by the Impact Guidance System (IGS) – ASICS Design Philosophy – that employs linked componentry that emphasises the foot’s natural gait from heel strike to toe-off.
