Delivery Information

We aim to process and despatch orders within 2 working days. Orders are sent by Royal Mail or via Courier dependent upon the total value of the order and the shipping destination.

UK Deliveries

Orders under £50

  • Sent by Royal Mail 2nd Class with an estimated delivery time of 2 to 7 working days
  • Delivery charge of £4.50.

Orders between £50 - £200

  • Sent by Courier using a Next Working Day delivery service
  • You will need to sign for the parcel
  • There is no delivery on Saturdays
  • Delivery charge of £6.50

Orders over £200

  • Sent by Courier using a Next Working Day delivery service
  • You will need to sign for the parcel
  • There is no delivery on Saturdays
  • Delivery charge of £12.50

International Deliveries

  • For courier services to Europe, there is a flat rate charge of either £35 or £50, dependent upon the country we are shipping to. The appropriate flat rate will be added to your order once you enter your delivery country. For most locations in Europe, it will take between 4 to 6 days for delivery. (Following Brexit we have had to temporarily cease our courier service to Europe).
  • For courier services to countries outside of Europe, we will have to calculate the delivery charge on a case-by-case basis and it will depend upon the destination address plus the weight and size of the parcel. Once you have placed your order online, please contact us at [email protected] to arrange payment for shipping. The total cost of the basket will not include this delivery charge. For all orders shipped outside of Europe, we will advise of an approximate delivery date at the time of payment.
  • In addition to the above, customs taxes or charges may be payable in some countries. This will be at the discretion of the local Customs Authority and Billings & Edmonds cannot be held responsible for these additional charges.

Deliveries to Schools for Collection

  • Deliveries to the on-campus stores are free of charge and this delivery option can be selected at the end of the checkout process. The on-campus store will notify you by email or by telephone when your order is ready for collection. This service only operates during term time.
  • Some Schools have agreed to help administer a once a week delivery service. If your School is one of these, you will be given the option at the end of the checkout process to select “free delivery to school”. For orders placed before midnight on a Tuesday, the items will be delivered to the School and ready for collection by that Friday.  (Therefore, for orders placed on a Wednesday, the goods will not be available until the following Friday, 10 days later.) For this option, we will need your child's name and form. Please note that this service only operates during term time.

Deliveries by Courier

In the case of UK deliveries, the total value of your order will determine if it is despatched by courier. We use DPD and APC courier services. If you are not at home when they try to deliver, they will usually re-attempt delivery the next working day. APC will attempt delivery of your order twice and DPD will attempt delivery three times. If the delivery is still not successful then the courier will hold on to it for seven days before returning it to Billings & Edmonds. Should you give us a valid mobile number the delivery company may contact you to give you up to date information regarding your delivery, and in the case of DPD, you may select other delivery options by responding directly. You may specify during the checkout process for a delivery to be left in a safe place, please note this is at your own risk, and Billings & Edmonds accept no liability for lost or damaged parcels in this instance.

Please note that our courier deliveries are only delivered on Monday to Friday, never on a Saturday or Sunday. Therefore, if an order is placed on a Friday it will not be delivered until the following Monday.

Delivery Terms & Conditions

  • All goods are subject to availability.
  • If you are ordering more than one item, your items may be sent to you from different locations or in instalments if certain items are out of stock. You will only be charged for one delivery in this instance.
  • In the event that we are unable to supply your goods within 14 days, we will inform you immediately and advise you of the expected delivery date. Outstanding orders/items can be cancelled at any time prior to despatch.
  • In the event of any goods delivered by us being damaged in transit, deficient of items shown on the delivery note or failing to match the items ordered by you, then such details must be notified by you to us within 7 working days of receipt. If we receive no such notification, the customer will be deemed to have accepted the items as satisfactory. We cannot be held liable for any consequential loss caused by late delivery or failure to deliver by the company's appointed carrier.
